This is a bunch of illustrations I did for a school prject on drawing class in which we had to illustrate a book of our choosing. I chose to illustrate Tolkien's The Silmarillion and here is the result.

The first one is the cover of the book, which we had to to in multimedia class, so its digital. Used Photoshop CS6 except for the lettering, for which I used Illustrator just because its fancy.

All the rest is traditional art. Painted using watercolor.

Check out the rest of it  HERE  so I don't spam the front page of the blog.

This is the finished version of the sketch I posted last time I updated the blog, which was basically last year, so it's fitting that I start the year with this.

This is also in my dA gallery, if you wish to check it out here

Some work in progress I've been doing on PS. The first one is my Dungeon World character, a ranger and his loyal hawk. I would like to work more on this one for the lighting mainly and the background.

This second one is something I've done quite randomly. It just turned out this way. It does remind me of a Popori, from TERA, so I guess that's what it is.

A digital self-portrait, another project for Multimedia. Used only Photoshop CS6, mostly with basic shapes on layers set on difference mode.

A typography project for Multimedia class.
Done using Illustrator CS6 for the lettering and Photoshop CS6 for the 'effects'

These are some 'paintings' I did after going to THU (digital art event) ,which occured conveniently near where I live and for which I convinently didn't pay for. Met some great people there and saw some great lectures which really encouraged me to keep trying digital art. If you're interested, some examples of great artists that were there: Raphael Lacoste (concept artist for Ubisoft), Dan Luvisi (Last Man Standing), Serge Birault, Kemp Remillard (Massive Black), Jana Schirmer, Marc Simonetti, among many others.

I haven't posted these on deviantART yet, so i guess it's blog exclusive.

And here are some WIP I have dropped a while ago for an idea I had of a skin concept for the League of Legends champion Quinn and Valor.

These I made after I started following Kienan Lafferty's youtube channel. I really like his videos, so check it out if you want.

Logo created for Multimedia class. Used Corel DRAW for the lines and Photoshop CS6 for coloring.

Here are some color studies I made for this project.
